I would love to hear from people who have the experience of printing with both laser-jet and ink-jet printers. The technologies have come a long way in recent years, and prices, especially of ink jet printers, have gone way down. One question: if one were to print a Finale file on a HP postscript laser-jet printer at 1200 x 1200 dpi, and again on a HP non-postscript ink-jet printer at the same 1200 x 1200 dpi, would there be a difference? I know that different printers from different manufacturers yield different results, but how is it with the same manufacturer?
