But the real problem with the documentation is not really the 
content, but the lack of capabilities of Acrobat Reader. I hate every 
second I have to spend in Acrobat, because nothing about it works 
well. Everything about navigation is badly designed, and there is 
insufficient intelligent linking capability. And searching is too 
fraught with difficulties, as well.

Surely HTML documentation would be much easier to produce and give 
much greater possibilities for designing interfaces to the 
information that are appropriate to the information itself.
