Yes. NotePad can open documents made in Finale up to Version 2002, and you can do some limited editing. Key changes will import, but alas, you can't generate them in NotePad. It's a very useful way for people with older versions to open newer ones, and if you have friends who use Sibelius, they can download NotePad and read, print, and play your finale files.
