I asked about clearing manual spacing, not note position specifically, or beat charts specifically. Both of those are manual spacing of notes, and that was the original question. > . . . The topic was clearing manual note positioning, and you reply to my observation that it takes two steps by saying that it is often useful for it to be two logically separate steps. There are at least two different methods for that (other than simply dragging the notes in Speedy), and what is clear from the responses is that there is no command in Finale for blocking an area of music and with one command clearing any manual spacing.
