Yeah, but they're still ahead of Harry Connick Jr., whose "idea" amounts to little more than having everyone in the band sit in front of a Mac monitor displaying a Finale file. My understanding is that the real selling point is expected to be the cost savings for librarianship, not the thrill of looking at a screen rather than paper nor the ability to avoid page turns. The editing capabilities you discuss are the sort of things Recordare is involved with, I think, since they're the ones trying to develop a standard protocol for keeping the data (based on MusicXML).
