I know this has been discussed once (or maybe even more!!) but it happened to me and I don't know exactly why.
I am still in FinWin 2k2b. I enter my harp pedals with Engraver Text Times, the two lines version. Everything always worked out fine until today: when I reopend a file to extract parts, the kerning or spacing between characters had changed and I could only see B and E letters and far away two flats and nothing else. I think I created this file with Johannes Gebauer's useful template (created on Mac) and I think I have been asked about font substitutions between Mac and PC, but now it seems that everytime I tried to use some characters in EngraverText I get this very odd kerning. I wonder if the FAN file has been corrupted, or the font itself. Or maybe I need not erase the MacFont.txt (or whatever it is called) But what I am more impressed of (and curious as well) is why these things happen.
