Listsibs: No not a typo, but rather, quite by another accident, I discovered that you can _exactly_ superimpose one staff on another, and both seem to print just the way you had them.
Now, I do realize some of the inherent limitations in the approach: for example, among other considerations, 2nds caused where one note is in layer 2 and one note in layer 5 are going to have to be manually spaced.
