You can easily concatenate multiple PDF files
into one. I do that e.g. after I've generated
PDF files for a bunch of songs. I concatenate them
into one PDF file, then add on a cover page
and TOC (generated from a word processor).
Then I can distribute one PDF file
with all the stuff, and the recipient does one
PRINT command.

To do this, open any one of the source PDF files
in Acrobat. Then drag and drop the next one. A
menu box will pop up asking you whether the new
one should be BEFORE or AFTER the current one.
You can then obviously drag and drop a blank
page.

I have not found any way to delete PDF pages,
so if I goof up the process, I just start over.

I have also not found any way to add composite page
numbers or heading lines.

So the technique isn't complete and perfect,
but it's simple and useful.
