Hi Howard,

Can you explain a bit more about what you do?
I'm puzzled about what .txt and .prn files
have to do with the process.

The process I use is to print from Finale
to a PostScript file, which I then distill
to PDF. Aside: printing to PDF gives me problems
with fonts---the files won't display on
other machines. When I go through PostScript
to PDF I get portable PDF files).

Anyway, after I get the songs in PDF files,
I simply open one of them, and drag and drop the
others into it one by one. If I drag and drop
a group of files, they end up in random order.

Then I prepare a cover page and TOC with a
word processor, generate PDF from it, and
drag and drop it into the emerging collective PDF.

So, for my education, where do the txt and prn
files enter your process?

Thanks,
