If you don't want to change the layout at all, you will get split 6/4 measures unless there is an even number of 3/4 measures in each system. If this is not a problem for you, you could just hide alternate barlines and use a different time signature for display. Of course this will mean that each 6/4 measure will have a bit of unnecessary space in the middle where the barline has been hidden.

Otherwise I can't see anything better than changing the time signature with "rebar music" checked. The problem with this method is that all the measure-attached stuff (expressions, smart shapes, text) will now be in the wrong place, so if you have a lot of measure-attached elements you might still be better off with the first technique.
