Thanks to Richard, Hal, and Matthew for responding to
my Question concerning 'Copy and Paste'. I appreciate the time you
took to help me.
Had trouble achieving my goal since I don't think
my question wasn't complete enough. I had some short up-angled lines
(representing a slide into a note) both in the notation and tab staffs.
Both print fine in Finale 2002. (OS is win98se) I then saved it as
an EPS file and imported it into Quark 4.1. The problem was in the tab
staff...........most of the lines were changed to other locations or different
directions and were considerably longer.
The only way I could find to fix them was to make
a slash line between two notes in the notation staff using the smart tool
and dragging that to the location I wanted in the tab staff.
I just wondered if there would have been an easy
way to copy just the slash line in the notation staff and paste
it into the tab staff. I tried what you all suggested which seemed to make
sense but, the lines went 'every which way' on my attempts.
Thanks again for your help.
