I believe your client could, with the full Acrobat program, combine PDF 
files into a single file, so he could create single page PDF files and 
then combine them in any order he wants to end up with a single PDF file 
with all the pages in booklet printing order.

I didn't. That's done by the Sibelius guy at his end. And apropos of 
someone else's comment, he says he can't make a single part file 
starting from multiple score files, so I strongly doubt he can set up a 
pdf in booklet order.
