Hello,

the option "Recalculate contour for note-attached slurs" uses the Slur
Contour settings from the file that you are currently working on. It does
not look into your default file.

In recent TGTools versions, you have the option to use Finale 2003's
Engraver Slurs which means that TGTools itself doesn't recalculate the
contour - Finale does. That way, the contour will exactly match the one that
Finale would choose from its current settings.

If you don't use Finale 2003's Engraver Slurs, then TGTools tries to
recalculate the contour based on Finale's settings, but it cannot match 100%
what Finale would do. To compensate for that, you have two options:
"Fine-tune calculation of note distances (100=normal)", and
"Fine-tune calculated slur heights (100=normal)"

If you want the slurs to be higher in general, you can use values higher
than 100 for either of these options.

Cheers,
Tobias

Subject: [Finale] TGTools redraw slurs

Does TGTools' redraw slurs actually redraw only according to Finale's
default slur settings even if you change these settings in your default file
(or any file, for that matter)? It seems when I try this plugin, it redraws
to whatever settings it wants, and not to the ones I have specified.

Perplexed,
Liudas
