[Finale] figured bass entry

What's the fastest/easiest way to enter figures for basso continuo? The 
methods I've found in the users' manual seem rather cumbersome, but I may 
well be missing something...

I'm using 2001d for Windows, and I'm very new to Finale, having entered a 
few relatively simple scores before the current project. Thanks. -LK
