[Finale] MacOS 10.2.4 MIDI works?

Well, I've been afraid to update to OS X.  Finale folks say it all 
works.  But I have no idea how to get MIDI to work.  I have a 
Midisport 2X2 and OMS - the latest software versions for both OS X 
and 9 - and FinMac 2003a.  After trying lots of combinations, I can't 
get Finale to recognize my Roland ep-3.  It all worked just fine in 
9.2.2.  What am I missing?  Is the computer confused?  I sure am.
