The SMT list is the list of the Society for Music Theory. A lot of interesting theoretical topics are discussed there, from pedagogy to the relevance of serialism in practical analysis. It also is a Mailman list, and its subscription page can be found at <https://mail.lsit.ucsb.edu/mailman/listinfo.cgi/smt-list>. I'm not certain whether SMT membership is required, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. Before Bob Kosovsky (the moderator) will add you to the list, he will send you a list of introductory questions about your affiliations and/or interests in the study of music theory. CMS is the College Music Society, but I am not a member of that institution or that mailing list and I have no information to give regarding subscription. ------------- Brad Beyenhof [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
