Hi all,

I too would opt for the joystick port, for all the same reasons as Noel
mentioned; also of consideration, when using a USB connection (MidiMan gear,
Roland UM-1 etc.) there tends to be a delay in the reaction time to hear the
sounds as entered from the midi keyboard. i.e. play a note on the keyboard,
and it is heard about half a second later, not instantly. Makes entering
notes (and sequences of quick notes particularly!) with a midi keyboard in
speedy entry, a little disconcerting! Of course, it's much better with
speakers off.....!

Cheers,
Angela
