To those of you who use Windows: I recently built myself a new machine (a 2.4GHz P4 w/1GB PC2700 DDR SDRAM, if you're interested) and I'm running Windows XP. I have the means to connect my Yamaha PSR-730 keyboard to my computer through the joystick port of a sound card, through a serial "TO HOST" cable, or through a USB connection (Midiman Midisport USB 1x1). To those with more experience than I, what do you recommend? Based on some testing I've performed thus far, the Midisport connection makes the MIDI Input Viewer (from <http://www.borg.com/~jglatt>) crash... but that's really all the knowledge I have as a basis of comparison.
