No, I actually completely agree with you. But now imagine the situation of
the self-employed secretary in a similar scenario:
Half way through the project the secretary jumps the wagon, delivers only
paper copies in unacceptable format, and demands that the money be payed
anyway.
Granted, the secretary has delivered something, but what value is this work?
