AFAIK, the discount is only for those who purchased 2002, and, they assume, didn't get the 2003 upgrade since it wasn't OS X compatible. The discount is from the regular upgrade price that would have been for 2002>2004, making it the same as for 2003>2004 upgraders. I.e., no upgrades are below $89.
Anyway, if you're registered on the site, it should know what version you have so the promo code is kind of useless (I think).
I was afraid they'd allow a discount only for 2002 users. I should NEVER have gotten the 2003 upgrade. I didn't use it until a couple months ago, and that was only because of a silly mistake. Oh well... I didn't play my cards right and I lost. :-)

And I have received no e-mail promo at all - even though I have gotten every upgrade since 2.5. When I first heard here of the upgrade I reserved my copy at $89.
