I did read somewhere (either on the tips or in the video tips or at the web site or in the publicity that came in the mail or maybe in the What's New section of the OLD) from MakeMusic that they have dropped the web-viewer and save-as-web-page in favor of the free version of Notepad and regular .MUS files. They expect anybody who wants to view Finale files on the web to download Notepad, download the file and view it in Notepad.

Basically, allowing for anybody to do anything with our finale files!

Guess it proved harder for them to do than they had thought it would be!

Or maybe they figure enough people are creating PDF files and using passwords to prevent printing.

Who knows, but it does appear to be gone.

Has the ability to save as a web page been dropped from 2004 or am I
missing something? I realize the viewer probably only supports 2003 and
earlier, but I assume MakeMusic would update the viewer after getting out
the upgrade for Mac. I like to post samples for my students as well as some
of my own compositions on our school music as well as my own web site and
would like to continue doing this. I hope I'm just missing it in the
documentation. It used to be under File-Save Special.
