Ahhh, I get it! It's interesting that the wording of this letter (by Mark and Ilesa I presume) actually assumes that I am a guilty spammer and my only hope for non excommunication (BLACKLISTED!!! say it ain't so!) is to prove I'm human.
The moral question is-- Why write an insultingly worded 'SlamSpam' that can insult a human while seemingly trying to scare a machine?

Does the machine care? If not ( I assume everyone is with me on that point)-- why not word it as sweetly as possible. The machine still won't be flattered. :)

All that programming and so much aggression. Terrifying.

That's a good point. I've gotten "whitelist" messages before, from real human beings whom I am acquainted with, and they've always had very polite wording, apologizing for the rudeness and inconvenience. This one is so rude that even if K.P. Dejong were someone I was genuinely trying to contact, I'd be tempted to tell him to buzz off.
