It seems that today the list has been set with a Reply-to header of "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Now, we don't need to "Reply All" or manually type in the Finale list address.

Hey! Wow! That's great!

In another thread, now, established practice has caused a poster to "slip up" and send a message to the list twice. I liked the old way, since people who only get the digest are more likely to get responses quickly through personal email...

That sounds like a rather weak reason to me. No offense to people who get the digest, but how hard is it to just create a mailbox folder and configure a filter? Besides, if you subscribe to the digest, you presumably know what you're getting into. Slow responses are part of the deal.

Anyhow, that drawback pales in comparison to the longstanding problem of the thousands of responses being lost because someone sends a private email when they meant to respond to the list. This is fixed now, and I couldn't be happier!

But, whatever... I'm probably in the minority.

I'm afraid you're probably right, there.
