Hi guys,

One minor annoyance in Mac Finale is that when opening multiple documents, the windows are tiled (i.e., the window position is offset down and to the right) rather than stacked directly on top of each other. This means that if you actually want to maximize your screen real estate and have the largest possible window size for all of your open documents -- which I think most users do want most of the time -- then you have to cycle through all of your windows and manually click the green "maximize" button for every window except the first.

You'll notice that in Safari, if you have a window that is already maximized, and you open a new browser window, the new window is stacked on top of the existing window, not tiled. In other words, if your first window is maximized, all new windows will be maximized. Windows are only tiled if your first window isn't maximized. A lot of Mac OS X applications behave this way now, and it would be really nice if Finale followed suit.

Regards,

- Darcy
