That is a mouse driver specific setting on Windows. Dell laptops have 
shipped with drivers for a long time that have settings for that. But 
it would depend on the drivers for the particular touchpad mouse 
hardware installed in your laptop.

I'm glad it helped -- I didn't actually expect it to, as my 
experience is that the slowdown with the Luna interface is with UI 
widgets, and smart shapes in Finale are not being supplied by the OS.

But it's good to know.

I personally don't know how anyone can stand to look at the Luna UI, 
it's so butt-ugly. I see it on a lot of computers, presumably because 
people just don't know they have a choice.
