[Finale] OSX macro capabilities

I had gathered from various postings to this list that Mac OSX had 
some kind of built-in macro capability that obviated the need for 
such programs as QuicKeys. Yet I don't see any such thing in _Mac 
OSX: The Missing Manual_. Comments?
