TM metric settings work only for extending brackets to full metric value, though what I want is metric position of tuplet *number*. TM centers a number horizontaly acording to a graphic center of tuplet bracket, not to its metric center. Please refer to Read p.212, Ross p.161 should you need further examples.
I have also explained in detail some positioning inconsitancies and flows in TM in a private mail with .pdf attachment. I don't want to send attachments to the list, so if you lost it, just let me know :) in short, the problems were: - TM cannot position tuplets properly if there is a note in layer 4, even though layer 4 being invisible. - differences in number distance to a beam. The worst is downbeam/slant up vs upbeam/slant down (without brackets). - a bug related to switching autobracket on or off before running TM - TM doesn't handle staves with percussion notation with percussion maps (should skip them at least) - a strange bug, when TM has to be applied twice with regards Abel Korzeniowski From: "Robert Patterson" > What improvement are you looking for beyond the current "Metric" > Horizontal Offsets option? _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
