I'm not sure. There is, however, a "Show All" command in the application menu of every application (i.e., the menu immediately to the left of the Apple menu that is the same as the name of the currently running application). It doesn't have a keyboard shortcut, but you could program a universal QuicKey/iKey for "Show All."

In MacFin 2004b the program quits if I select "command H", the Home keys
"Control A" is another option given in Help and this seems to work OK.

Command H is the new keystroke in OSX for Hide Window. It shouldn't quit. Are you sure that is what is actually happening, as Hiding may look an awful lot like quitting, since the window disappears? No doubt Finale had to re-map the OS9 keystroke to control A to avoid problems.
