Honestly, I'd not recommend this at all.

Go get a cheap laser printer. A brother or something. I have a brother 1440 that is over two years old that I must have done about 20,000 pages with, and it is a tank. The price is under $200 now. And I think it's on it's 4th toner now?

An inkjet like that will cost you way more in the long run. The cost per page compared to something that uses toner is the concern. I'd either recommend getting something that uses toner if you are mainly going to do Black and white copying. Brother makes an all in one I believe that uses a toner, and is pretty much the same engine as the 1440 series laser.

Again, the Ink costs are going to kill you.

Does anyone of you have this printer - HP Officejet 7130 All-in-One (C8389A)

Can I SAFELY assume that it will work OK wit Mac OS 10.3.4?

How does this machine's Fax work with PB 15 or 17 running

How does it's Scanning work with Finale Smart Music Notation, i.e.
converting printed music into Finale Files... I heard that some printers or
multifunction boxes are less friendly to Finale.

Is photo prints quality OK on this one?

Is it more Ink hungry than Epsons? My Epson 760 is VERY Ink intensive when
it comes to printing photos (from iPhoto)

How is HP's Tech Support? Can one call them? Is free, and if so, for how
long?

This machine will be used mostly for Copying(BW), Faxes (Mostly incoming),
Printing(B&W), Scanning, and some photos.

The HP Site is less than perfectly clear...

At this page

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=79477&lang=en&cc=us&lc=e
n&dlc=en&docname=bpm35005

It says -- "HP Officejet 7100 series
*    Yes (OS 9.1>)
*    Yes (OS v 10.1)
*    Yes (OS v 10.2)
*    No (OS v 10.2.2)
*    Yes (OS v 10.2.3-10.2.8>)
*    Yes (OS v 10.3.x) available as a web download www.hp.com/support"

So I found this Download page
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?product=91466&os=21
9&lang=en&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&softwareitem=oj-12184-2

where it does mention OS 10.3 and slightly confusing Installation
Instructions - -------------
For Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3 Users only

1. Launch Print Center (or Printer Setup Utility) from the Utilities
folder in the Applications folder.
2. ClickAdd Printer.
3. Select a connection method from the pop-up menu. Your device will be
listed under one of the following: HP AiO Print, USB, Rendezvous, HP IP
Printing. To print to fax, select HP AiO Fax from the pop-up.
4. Select your device in the browser list and click Add. Your device is
added to the Print Center's printer list, with the suffix "(Print)" or
"(Fax)". 5. Quit Print Center.
-------------

So it does it mean that I would have to Add this Printer twice - once for
USB Print, and once under AiO Fax for Faxing?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!
