I have installed and registered Finale 2004 on two machines. Now I need to move one registration because one machine will be exchanged. How can I do this?
I believe you have to call tech support at makemusic and explain the situation to them. They'll allow you to reregister.
I had to contact them when I installed a new hard drive and moved up to WinXPPro. It took all of about 15 seconds to explain the situation and have the tech support reset the number of installs available to me.
I had been afraid I would lose my second install. Instead he reset my installs to 2 and all I had to do was register via the internet just as I had done when I first installed, so I still have a second install available when I get a notebook.
