I think somewhere all tech support personnel have a web-site where they keep score.
That would presume that there are rules, and I think any industry where quite often the final (and sometimes only) tech support to neophytes is "I guess you're going to have to reformat your hard drive and reinstall Windows" is not going to be an industry to play fairly, even if they did recognize rules.
But I bet that's the most common point scorer for those playing the game -- who's gonna call back after a statement like that?
