It's a very interesting message. The aliasing problem is unfortunately not limited just to Maestro -- the text font I use also gets aliased incorrectly. This makes it difficult for me to correct the EPS file as John describes, since it's hard to tell which font is which. Since John's file shows that Times comes out correctly, I would guess that only the "standard" laserprinter fonts (Times, Arial/Helvetica, Palatino, etc.) come through properly. But I've done almost no mucking around with EPS, so this is just a guess.

FWIW, I'm running FinWin2004b on Win2KSP4, with all TrueType fonts.
