I haven't upgraded to Panther yet, and I refused the upgrade to Fin04 because of the phone-home copy-protection, so I speak from a near vacuum of pertinent knowledge...

The application path in your report looks a little wanky.
It does look wonky (where I come from, "wanky" means something entirely different), but that's what it is. Obviously, in the Finder, you can't see anything beyond "Finale 2004c.app" -- unless you click "show package contents.
The implication I get from it is that you are somehow running Fin04 under Classic under Panther.
