Dean M. Estabrook asked:
I am about to install FinMac 2004 on an I Mac I have been given. The I Mac has both OS 9 and OS 10.3 on the hard drive. I've heard that the application runs rather slowly on OS X....would it be better to run it on OS 9? Pros and cons...?
You will have much more success with FinMac 2004 for OS X. Don't even think about the FinMac 2004 OS 9 version because it is unusable. (And that is not just my opinion.)
If you have the option, I would recommend FinMac 2003 for OS 9. This is still the fastest version out there and the feature set is quite good, especially when combined with TGTools and Patterson plugins among others.
