Yes, I have already reported problems with Autosave like this. There are
several flavours and combination of this, ie Autosave while playback is
going on (apart from interrupting playback, have you ever looked at such an
autosave file when using Human Playback? It's full of extra notes for trills
etc, pretty much an unusable autosave), Autosave of an unnamed file while
Finale is in the background etc.

Autosave in it's current implementation at least in OS X actually causes
more trouble than it can prevent, so I have switched it off.
