[Finale] Fin A, B, C, or D ?

I have just installed Fin2k4 on my iMac. All seems to be working fairly 
well, save the fact that when I put the computer to sleep, especially 
after I have been working with Finale,  when I wake it back up the 
cursor is sometimes frozen.

Next issue:  Make Music sent me the "a" version of Finale....if I go to 
their Web Site and download the "c" version (which I've been told I can 
do), what do I gain?

Final Issue:  I believe I was told that I could drag anything on the 
score anywhere I wanted by simply putting the cursor on it and doing 
so. I have not found that to be true yet......... am I missing 
something?

Your wisdom would be greatly appreciated.  I'm running an iMac with OS 
X.3.
