This refers to the Cross-Layer Accidental Positioning bug I mentioned in an earlier email. Here's the reply I received today: -------------- No, it doesn't seem to be fixed in Finale 2005. Sorry! -------------- This is hardly an adequate response. There's no explanation as to why a bug newly introduced in Fin2k4b that I reported in March and that they acknowledged at that time hasn't been fixed, and no indication of when they intend to fix it. "Sorry" just doesn't cut it. Although I've upgraded every year for the last 4 years, I won't upgrade until this bug is fixed, as I have no desire to go back through all my old scores to check where accidentals might be misplaced.
