Hi Kim,
Darcy is right. I just tried it and it works great. Get your toolbar set up the way you want it. Hold down the option key and go to View>Program Tool Set>Toolset 1.
Now go back to the view menu without holding option down and choose Select Toolset >Toolset 1. Then, as Darcy said, save your prefs. Your programmed toolset should come up and stay after you quit and restart Finale.
Thanks Darcy. I have used Program and Select staff set before but never this.

Also, I have always been important to Save the file and also, under Edit/Save Special, do Save Prefs. To no avail.
