Without really wanting to take sides on this, I would like to note that
I have various user manuals in electronic form, both in PDF and HTML
formats. My personal preference is definitely PDF. I find this much
easier to handle when searching for certain words, and I prefer to have
something in a page format which can be easily printed. None of the HTML
manuals I have fulfill this requirement even in a very basic form,
printing out excerpts from such manuals always ends up being a complete
mess.
What was the disadvantage of PDF manuals again?
