For those using Macs: Nobody has mentioned the online backup possibility. I have a virtual disk in my desktop that backups automatically to my .Mac account disk space.
I can access to the disk from anywhere, even from a PC. It is very unlikely that your place burn and the servers (wherever Apple have them) break at the same time. 250 Mb @ 99 bucks a year. There must be options for PC out there, but I'll let Dennis Bathory-Kitsz tell us which are...
