As far as I know, the only CD's I've ever had problems with are the Finale
2005 CD and a few bad blank CD-Rs. Other hybrid CDs seem to work fine.

I find it odd that none of the TiBooks you tried at the office had any
problems. When I called tech support, they specifically told me that several
TiBook users had complained about the problem. Perhaps the problem is
limited to certain models that have a specific model of optical drive that
was later upgraded. I've seen at least 3 different models of optical drive
for sale on eBay that are supposedly compatible with TiBooks.

Either way, I'll call tomorrow and see what I can work out regarding getting
a working copy of the Finale 2005 CD.
