I'm using 2K3. A filled block (text or graphics) will not cover notes, ties or slurs in the measure in which it was created. It will cover lyrics and time signatures on screen, as well as items outside the measure in which it was created -- a kluge that might work, depending on the printer driver (it works in PDF, but not with my Xerox printer). Here's a splatter page for testing various stuff: http://maltedmedia.com/images/varioustests.gif It would be good if Finale had a system of graphical layers with "bring to front", "bring forward", "send backward" and "send to back" options, which would make such hiding possible. Do such layers exist in 2K4/5? Dennis _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
