Guess I'll have to upgrade someday. Right now I have to wait until I'm
completely finished with everything and then I have attach a large number of
expressions to something in the first measure (staff, noteheads, notestems,
rests). It's a very laborious process. Do you have any suggestions to make
this easier?

Well, I'm among your early music folks, but have no problem making incipits
with expressions, especially since the huge improvements in expressions in
Fin2004. There are so many more urgent things that I wouldn't even add this
to my wish list. What do you want to do that Finale can't do and that your
incipit tool would do?
