Apple has been emphasizing on dual proc architecture for years, and it is more so now. To me, it is no question. If you have a choice, dual proc is the way to go. But just for a clarification, MOTU did redesign Digital Performer on version 4.5 so single proc is no longer unreasonably outperformed by dual proc. This was done by putting thread priority as a user choice. On the other hand, there are still and will be so many DSP applications demands dual proc. -- - Hiro Hiroaki Honshuku, A-NO-NE Music, Boston, MA <http://a-no-ne.com> <http://anonemusic.com> _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
