Wow, there's way too many caps going on in your email! :) I wouldn't bother putting too much faith in your OS or MM, after all if they were so great at verifying the stuff works we wouldn't be on 10.3.7 and there wouldn't have been need for Finale 2004d! Make backups and upgrade when you're not so busy. That way a restore costs time rather than money and you have time to test in the only place it actually counts - on your machine! What about all the third party applications and drivers you're running? You're not expecting MM or Apple to test all those too are you?! I know it takes a while, but a clean bill of health from MM only really goes so far, the rest is down to your particular system anyway.
