Just my 2c, I agree with this. I also have a Laserjet 5siMX that has done over 930,000 copies - and is still going strong. It duplexes and does large sized paper with ease. The manual feed doesn't work any more, but apart from that, it's generally very reliable. The only thing it's not so great with is with heavier stock paper (110 gsm), particularly double-sided. Lots of paper jams and the ink doesn't get fused so well across the paper.

So I would not hesitate buying an HP laser printer again, based on this and other HP printers I've owned.
