Buffer already maxed. Don't know how much that affects Finale playback, though.
RE: Human Playback, the GPO manual is out of date. Fin2005 supports Human Playback using GPO -- hence the "Optimize for GPO" checkbox and related options in Fin2005.

Also, pg 47, 2/3 of the way down the page, it says to turn Human Playback in Finale OFF. Is this what you did? Because you said you had it on. I don't know if this will help, though.
