I just got a new iBook, and I am very happy with it. However, I also have a very old Palm, which I would like to continue using for a while. It only has an old fashioned serial connection and an IR port. I am wondering whether it is possible to add IR to my iBook with a cheap USB adapter? If so, does anyone know who makes such things, and which ones are compatible with the Mac?
I know I could probably pick up a new Palm for very little money which would support a USB connection, so I won't complain if this plan turns out to be either costly or impossible, it is just a thought.
