But it *has* happened to *me* on Windows -- I've never lost data, but as I've said many times, I've seen the wrong data displayed for the window titles (i.e., document names).
Well, that's the bug! Can you weigh in with what you were doing when the bug hit? Are there certain circumstances when it happens that you can identify? Do any of the things we have mentioned ring a bell, like opening a new file while several others are already open, changing a text block, and saving it (which is what I did to invoke the bug in every instance I can remember?) Your deeper computer knowledge could really help out here.
