That is how I use Finale as well. Unfortunately for us, that's not how the business works. I'm just happy that Finale doesn't let its playback software interfere with its notation software too much.

Despite being GPOs head resident PC cheerleader, I am also intrigued by the demos for Synful, despite the dreadful name. Has anyone been able to give the demo version a try?
